Dr Nadia James

Nadia is a paediatric Occupational Therapist with 18 years of experience, working across Australia and the United Kingdom. Nadia whole heartedly believes in the benefits of early intervention and this led to further studies in developmental paediatrics. Nadia has completed a Masters in Occupational Therapy (Paediatric specialisation) and a PhD investigating the impact of the Ditto™ (procedural preparation and distraction device), examining the relationship between pain, stress, anxiety and wound healing in children with burn injuries. 

Nadia is a culturally sensitive practitioner with a holistic family-centred approach to therapy. As a mother of three boys, she can personally and professionally relate to pressures of the modern family. Nadia draws from evidence-based practices and broad clinical skills to create practical, realistic and sustainable ways to best support the individual child and family achieve their goals.
